The New South Story

The name, “New South Creative” was inspired by the word “new” being repeated so frequently in conversations and meetings Co-Founder, Brian Wagner attended when he was the CMO at Tennessee Tourism. New hotels, new attractions, new restaurants, and new experiences across the south.

Prior to working for TN Tourism Wagner witnessed a new transformation first-hand as he took part in a rebrand and major expansion at Nashville's iconic Ryman Auditorium.

The challenge is perceptions have not kept pace with the development or diversity of experiences in southern destinations. New South Creative exists to meet that challenge and bring forward those perceptions.

New South Creative combines destination-specific experience and creativity with research and tech to help DMOs and attractions excel. Destination marketing is our sole business focus.

Creative Director/Editor Chad Denning and wife Liz founded Gamma Blast Studios in Nashville working with Fortune 50 clients and mid to large brands using data insights and Hollywood processes for content strategy, creative concepting, production, editing, motion graphic animation, and delivery.

Clients include Discovery TV networks HGTV, Food Network, Trvl Channel, Universal Studios, the Nashville Predators, The Grand Ole Opry, FedEx, and more.
